With a comprehensive background spanning counseling, specialized instruction, and administration, Ashley has deep expertise in the development, compliance, and decision-making processes surrounding Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). She is highly knowledgeable in California Education Code and IDEA, and uses this foundation to effectively advocate for appropriate services and supports—even in complex situations where systems may not readily provide them. Ashley also has experience supporting families navigating both public and private school systems, including guidance around placement, accommodations, and aligning supports across settings. Ashley has extensive experience providing Designated Instruction and Services (DIS) counseling, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and developing individualized behavior intervention plans.
